How far do you travel from home to work? Also when you order something by
mail order, does it come from 2000 miles away or usually from someplace
local?

I ask because $7/gal would probably shut down the US.

OTOH, the housing market here just did a serious collapse, craftmaid laid
off their entire second shift in Middlefield last week and since gas prices
are being used to regulate the economy here the price did a dive from
$3.00/gal to $2.19 in the past 2 weeks. The gov must be really worried about
the economy here right now.
