Well, it's hardly a great catch, but I often used to listen to the
morning (GMT) programmes from Radio Australia.
Receiver was a Russian portable with an internal ferrite rod aerial
(yep! Ferrite rod for short wave!). Not a bad set actually, although the
mecahnical construction is lousy and the tuning scale is useless - cured
by sticking lables on the front!
