subject: Aliasing problem

        Lance:
I recently migrated my development application to its enduser,
only to be greeted with missing table errors. Examining the
problem further revealed that my lookup table addresses are
stored with their physical location, and not with the logical
alias that I selected while defining the lookup.
So far I have tried migrating the datamodels to the enduser,
restructuring the lookup by selecting the alias from the PFW
dialog box, and even entering the alias and table name with dot
        notation. Nothing works.
Have you any suggestions? Nobody else in the local Paradox SIG
has experienced this problem, leading me to conclude that either
my ODAPI/IDAPI settings are incorrect, or that my copy of PFW5
(which I purchased directly from Borland in late June/early
July) my have a few kinks. Any help would be greatly
        appreciated.
        Jeff Kuzma

Jeff,
PMFJI... This is a known fact and complaint with the PdoxWin product.
You do NOT have a defective copy. It is a design flaw (IMO). The other
area that I have a problem with in the lookup table is that you can't
add more records to it on the fly (while you are still in the lookup
mode).

Regards, STeve...
