I have a similar situation with my NEC-P8 battery - I have an "extra-life" 
one,
that lasts for a couple of days' use in between charges... and an "ordinary" 
one
which doesn't seem to last 2 minutes without losing its charge :-(
BTW, has anybody got any advice on whether I should discharge batteries each
time I charge them, or not bother..?
