RW> Our guitarist has a mesa boogey amp, the 100 watt
RW> Every time we play within 2 miles of the local fm
RW> station, he picks up the fm station as soon as he
RW> picks up the guitar. Touching the pickups can
 RW> eliminate it.
Is it a single ended input preamp without filters on the input stage or
ferrites on the leads?
If only guitarists had grown up with solid state we might see more balanced
line pickups and preamps, as well as lower typical impedances.
