Not aware of any Federal laws against carrying a concealed weapon so it's not
clear why you want to pick on a federal senator. Laws for carrying a 
oncealed
weapon are  state and local so your issue really should be with your own
California and local politicians. If you really want a CWP come on up to
Oregon. Oregon State law is that a CWP must, repeat must, be granted unless
there is a compelling reason for not granting one. This was passed by State
initiative years ago and yes I voted for it.
