What for? I don't _see_ the difference between an underlined and low dash
tagged word within ascii universe networks like Fidonet. Basically there is not
much need for markups. Look around in typical common media, bold italic and
underline markups are used very rarely because there is no significant change
of the content - a no is still a no and a _no_ is more no than no - or a dead
is more than _dead_ and a _faster_ is still more than fast and much more faster
than faster?

The one useful markup for quotes is italic and that function is already covered
by the > sign at the beginning of a quoted line.
