Thank you.  Conceptualizing a new Miriah Story with just this sort of
problem. How to make Miriah's potential choices of action gray enough so
that there's a real uncertainty aboiut what to choose and what the right
thing is.

Long story - here's how much a pack of Sci Fi fans we are at my house.  My
oldest daughter was 15.  She acquired a pack of admirers from her high
school, that she'd alternatively disadain, use, make fun of or hang out
with.  She termed these teenaged boys her "Cylons", because she
enjoyed picturing them saying "By your command"

Mind you this was twenty years after BSG had been on ther air originally.

The one minion who recognized ther reference was immediately promoted in
the field to "Stormtrooper".

Kat's Husband is a computer programmer, gamer (Consoles and table top) and
fan boy (Although he hates Trek).  Part of the basis for their relationship
was an Ability to *understand each other's references.*

No I will be able to tell Kat I have a Pakled.  Not seriously,  but if I
time it properly,  I can probably get a spit take out of her.  Thanks Joe.

Making Kat do spit takes and making her give me that look, the "I
don't believe you said that, ow, my brain hurts" look is one of my
chief pleasures in life.

Garry and Sue Stahl do this even worse.  Tell them about the Penguins and
ther Rocks, garry!
