Ah yes, the "hope and guess" algorithm favoured by amateurs and
poor workmen alike. Some of us like to know damn sure whether
a line that starts "---" is a tearline or the last line of an
SQL program. In fact, I was looking at such a 4GL program at
work today. In that case it wasn't the last line though.
