Well-to-do innocent people probably are few and far between. The
exonerated folks we hear about (when they are released after N
years in prison because they were "lucky" enough to have been
convicted of a crime involving still extant DNA *and found someone
who gave enough of a damn to follow up) seem distinctly on the
penniless side. It must depend on where you're sitting. --Sally
