DT :>I thought the instructor was suppose to set the rules. I
DT :>really
DT :>appreciate a horse that behaves for unskilled riders and
DT :>takes good
DT :>care of them..
Yes, well....that's usually the case isn't it! However, Richard and I both
have "wills of steel" (if not buns!), and this does make for the occasional
clash (g).
DT :>I hope you can make the kids paranoid about her mouth. I
DT :>take it she
DT :>has a really smooth trot?
I plan to start them all out on the longe without using their reins to get
the balance thing down first. Then reins, but loose!!! This horse does have
to get used to pressure on her mouth at least to a point, so that's my job.
Had her teeth floated and I'm going to put her in a fat snaffle (she's in a
copper roller snaffle right now as that's what she was used to) and see if
that helps. Trot is wonderful!
