This is interesting because I've never seen a Studio with an ebony neck.
I've seen some with rosewood that was so dark it looked painted, but never
ebony.

This is very interesting, and makes me wonder if these are real, counterfeit,
new, or used being sold as new. Then again, Gibson has made changes in the
Studio in recent years, including going from dot inlays to the trapezoid
blocks... they may very well have changed knobs as well.

Not a chance of that... Epiphones are made in Korea.
