After I sent my last message to You, I thought about this:

On CBM BASIC a Program could be LOADED from one floppy disk, and another
disk with the same program on it could be checked by using the VERIFY
command.

But You are talking about a SFX file not a CBM BASIC file.  DUH!

Since I never used the VICE emulator on this XP box I haven't the slightest
idea how to suggest something to You.

I got a USB 2.0 Floppy Disk Drive just after buying this XP box in 2006.
But I don't suppose You are talking about CBM PRGs on a PC formatted Floppy.

All I can do is scratch my head for You to give Your hands a rest doing that.
