you are welcome to use gentoo and fix there default of using python and rsync
:)

funtoo is using python and git, what ever is more powerfull we needs patches if
there is any problem with them

overlays can use whatever layman suppots

but that depends on what the remote maintainers add to the tarball, with cvs i
got the stable tagged

+1, i will possible make crashmail/crashtick ebuilds to make my problem bigger
:=)

i think husky project is using lots of cvs/git/svn so now its not single source
uri any longer, and thus i dont get so much stable even if using stable branch
ebuilds, if that is a sign of developpers drops cvs then its sad to see not
addind git or svn repo on sf.net for husky, then i could change ebuild to
follow

would be good if more is using gentoo, and helping solveing all the problems
with it, i found that husky ebuilds was brokken in my overlay, so removed all
husky ebuilds now in fidonet overlay

put this xml file into /etc/layman/overlays/

layman -a husky
emerge -a smapi fidoconf hpt

works even with husky 1.4 stable branch, wtf ? :)

PS: if Semen reads here could you add husky 1.9 stable ?

... there can only be one way of life, and it works :)
