| subject: | Slide Hammer |
Finally got my first experience using a slide hammer this past weekend. Was replacing the other CV axle on the passenger side of my Monte Carlo and was unable to pull the axle out of the transmission using my own tools. Ran to the store and got the slide hammer with axle puller end and a few whacks and the axle came out. My 2002 Monte Carlo now has two new CV axles on the front end. My next project is painting the calipers on the Monte and 2012 Charger and replacing all rotors and pads on both. Also doing new brakes on the 2001 Durango. Been a busy few months working in Mark's Garage.. :) - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.51* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 203/0 633/267 280 640/384 1384 712/620 848 770/1 @PATH: 261/1304 1 266/512 140/1 221/0 1 203/0 640/384 712/848 633/267 |
