I've got a dedicated machine for backing up & file serving, and I wasn't sure if there would be a problem transferring between the NTFS & FAT file systems over a LAN network. Glad to hear from you that it shouldn't be a problem. I am using it with NT4 workstation so it should work with server. I load it when a door is run and then unload it, I only use it for a few doors that require a fossil. Hope it helps.
