The issue is the caller becomes the server. His upload channel is at x2
speeds (33333 to 53k) but his download channel is at a regular v.34
connect. On the surface this does not seem to be a problem, but I have
noticed that the download channel in this case gets real bad cps's. I
saw numbers like 1650. Then I disabled x2 on the I-modem and called the
same number back and got download speeds of 3200. If the sysop had
disabled x2 on the Courier v.everything I would have gotten the better
times from the start.
