I agree that the anology was inexact---and not meant
to be taken too seriously---thus the 'smiley' at the
end (which you snipped).
Perhaps a better question would be "If you filtered
the newsgroup to eliminate all posts containing
"Parg", and all variations on "woman" and "feminist"
what would be left? Would the remainder represent
the lives and opinions of men on such subjects as
interactions with other men, families, and work?
I think not.
Just filtering out "parg", "feminist" or
"feminazi" might
remove 2/3s of the posts in the newsgroup.
Perhaps the newsgroup would be better titled "soc.gender interaction"
