Hello Peter!
Quoting Peter's message:
RB>> AutoExecPath = C:\4DOSEXEC.BAT
RB>> (load) 4DOSEXEC.BAT - for some reasons, 4DOS always call (load)
RB>> AUTOEXEC.BAT
PH> I found in the help that there's also an AutoExecParms option.
I have read about that command but it is not what I want to do (like passing
parameters to AUTOEXEC.BAT).
PH> ...The help says that AUTOEXEC.BAT will get the parms specified here
PH> as %1, %2 etc. - or the filename specified with AutoExecPath, if 4DOS
PH> is loaded with the "/p" option.
PH> Didn't check into this myself as of now. Maybe it helps you in

Without using the AutoExecParms command/option I am doing something similar:
on the first line of my AUTOEXEC.BAT file I check if the command interpreter
is 4DOS, and, if so, I immediately call 4DOSEXEC.BAT
PH> ...I guess the description of what happens when AutoExecPath is set
PH> must be wrong somehow, AUTOEXEC.BAT is always called but %1 holds the
PH> name of the batch to call - or something like that.
But I would like/prefer that 4DOS calls 4DOSEXEC.BAT directly as indicated in
the docs/help file... :(
Sincerely, Raymond Beriau.
