I run a board, 3 nodes, 1000+ message areas, 300+ file areas with 2gigs total
files.  About 150 doorgames, and 8 interbbs leagues.  Not a single problem.
I don't know where you got the idea that it's bad for a big BBS, but I
consider my BBS to be pretty damned big, and haven't had any problems.
