That IS a bit on the odd side. But then, computers are not totally
comprehensible by us peons!

I'll be sending you the entire package. It has a readme.txt that
explains things. Basically, the part you want is an .exe that you use
instead of bwave.exe, and otherwise nothing at all changes in your
set-up.
For the benefit also of those who might be reading "over our shoulders",
what I'm sending Jean is a Zip file which contains Y2K patches for the
following Bluewave products (and as the readme states, this are not
authorized by the author... since he hasn't been findable for years):
Readers: 2.20 DOS 2.30 DOS 2.30 386 (DOS)
Door: Telegard 3.11
There are also the batch files that he used to fix the executables, for
any wizards out there that might be curious, or have access to an OS/2
system to fix that reader... or to fix doors for other bbs softwares.
The ones he fixed were the ones available to him. More information is
in the readme included in the zipped file, which is just under a meg.
JP> I would not but you can, in my name, give a kiss to your
JP> resident Wizard.
Will do. :)
ttyl neb
... What are the instructions doing in the trash??
