IIRC there is no raspberry pi involved in the scenario under discussion.
It is all about a disgruntled employee who has to use vi because he is
coding for an AIX  target using windows as a desktop and no one will let
him do otherwise than edit the fiules on the remote machine.

If he had any nous at all, we would realise that he could in fact edit
the files on windows and then cut and paste the text into vi...if that
was the only way.

But he is one of life's self styled victims, and would rather complain
about his world than change it.
