I don't think I've everheard of this before, but it sounds like a good idea
or interesing to hear about doing triplets.  It sounds similar to doing
finger tapping for lead guitar/melody.  Have you ever heard of the band
called Infectious Grooves?  I know of four albums and I have three of them
which have the bassist Robert Trujillo (ex-Suicidal Tendencies, ex-Ozzy
Osbourne's band, played w/ Jerry Cantrell and Black Label Society, now
current Metallica lineup).  It has some excellent bass playing.  It's like
metal, hardcore?, funk, rock.
