What happens if he turns off word wrapping? Is there a button for that in
one of the Word preferences?

What would happen if one selects the entire document, then goes to
Format>Paragraph, then geso to Line and Page Breaks, and checks
"Keep lines together" and "Keep with next"? Just a
thought.
