What you're not realizing here is that some people do full message newscans, 
rather than only messages addressed to oneself. Ones that do full newscans 
would see every single message you've CC'd as well as your original. Multiple 
messages of the same content = duplicate messages, and would not be caught in 
dupe checkers because the header would be altered (the TO field).
