It is a very good idea, no doubt here.  I think it is worth the effort. 
Anything you figure that I can do at this end, don't hesitate to ask.  I'll
wait until the dust settles before doing anything dramatic.  I figure it'll
make tracking and fixing any bugs far easier before creating any new ones.

I like it.  This is good.  I really want to write a script for the user end
of this. Also I notice a couple options in Multimail that we might be able
to encorporate and really make this sing.  However, I'll be patient.
