The neat thing is that it may or may not be! It is 380mm -
roughly like a 400mm, if it is on a 35mm - big in that context.
On your 4 x 5 it would be a nice portrait lens, about the
equivalent of a 105mm on your 35. 
On a 6x7 it would be a handy medium telephoto equivalent to
the 180 Nikon that is popular for sports and stage shooting. 
Bob Dial mentioned it was for an 8 x 10. On that, it would just
be a standard normal lens just about the same as the garden variety
50mm lens sold on millions of 35mm SLRs. Oh, and if it would cover
an 11 x 14 sheet on my dream Deardorff, it would be a wide-angle!
