I've been looking through one of my cookbooks, and have found these recipes,
Stewed Crayfish
Ciorba de Pui (Sour Chicken soup)
Chicken Pot roast
Duck with Cucomber
Tokana (Shepherd's Stew)
Mititei (Grilled Sausages with peppers)
Ciorba de Fasole (Bean soup)
Mamaliga (Corn mush)
Cabbage Soup with bacon
Sibiu Saxon Soup
Sibiu Saxaon Salad Soup
Stuffed vine or cabbage leaves
Mushroom Rice (wild mushrooms)
Walnut pie
Papanasi (Fresh cheese fritters)
Sloe syrup
As none of them are in electronic form, I would have to type them in for you
if you want any of them. I don't mind doing it at all, just tell me which
ones you would like.
The book I'm referring to used another one as source, so if you are
interested in Romanian cooking, try and find this
Romanian Furrow by D J Hall pub in London 1939
 SH> And what is " Gris " ???
The word os french for grey - the colour.
I don't know any romanian, so if Gris is an ingredient or foodstuff in
Romanian cookery I'm lost, sorry.
Oh yes, just an idea, in France they refer to one of the edible snails as
"Petit Gris".
All the Best
Ian
