 Thank you very much for the comments! I  agree with your concerns about 
loosing the character and "control". as much as anyone can really control an 
echo, as most aren't truly moderated.. By moderating in Fido, mostly my job 
is to scream at sysops that let off the wall messages into the echos, asking 
them to inform user as to how to use the echo, but any real control is 
difficult.
A mailing list that is sent via Email is probably going to be the Internet 
way of doing things, where every message sent to the mailing list is 
"moderated"  and then sent on to all in the mailing list.. Censorship should 
only be to eliminate sending Email through the mailing list, or otherwise 
inappropriate or off topic.topic traffic removed.
I will keep AUDIO a Fidonet presence as long as there is a Fidonet to be 
present in, that there is anyone listening or posting, etc.. Fidonet will 
have to evolve to remain a viable alternative though, but the concept of the 
message echo is a major reason for maintaining it's existance, but also 
exploring some additional resources for members of this echo, mostly Internet
based.
