I've considered the DJ-S40T, but was put off by its lack of a DTMF pad (I
hope to try IRLP) and SMA connector. Also, once you 'figure in' the cost
for the proprietary battery and charger, which are not included, the price
is comparable to Icom or Yaesu units with more functionality.  I like that
Alinco make a 70cm monoband mobile, but I have heard horror stories about
its quality, so I'm leaning towards an Icom IC-208H instead.
