| subject: | High Unemployment - Crafty Control Mechan. |
JS> The following editorial is interesting, not only for what
JS> it says, but also for what it does NOT say.
JS> Think about this. If what this author states is true, then
JS> under the right conditions, a similar method could be used
JS> to herd people towards accepting the infamous Mark of the
JS> Beast, or 666 global, computerized identification and
JS> credit system.
Yet that same system could be perfectly innocent.
JS> In other words, if the powerful elite of the world -- the
JS> International Jewish Bankers and their ilk -- are
JS> currently, and purposely, manipulating the global economy
JS> in order to fuel a high level of unemployment -- and I do
JS> believe that the economy is ALWAYS being manipulated --
JS> what might the end goal of this process be?
More likely the international Christian Bankers.
Or the international
Christian-Muslim-Buddhist-Hindu-Jewish-Atheist bankers.
JS> Well, one of the fruits of high unemployment is that it
JS> makes people more dependent on the government for
JS> hand-outs, without which they might not be able to survive.
Which they don't want to be. And which is the cause of the
extreme right wing trying to reduce this country to third world
status, where they can be feudal lords and the rest of us their
serfs.
JS> In other words, during times of high employment, people
JS> become more vulnerable; they become more weakened; and due
For a short time, after which they become more hardened and more
dangerous.
JS> to their desperate situation, they also become more open to
JS> accepting certain government measures which they might not
JS> normally accept, which might even limit their personal
JS> freedoms.
Or they become rebellious and a threat to government.
JS> In short, as I have said before, governments -- and the
JS> global elite which controls them -- will sometimes
JS> intentionally create problems, and force people to suffer,
Yes, the Grover Norquist syndrome.
JS> so that at the right time, after the people have been
JS> softened and weakened, they will be willing to accept
JS> whatever solution the government has already previously
JS> concocted, and that solution will enslave them to, and make
JS> them dependent upon, the government even further. People
No, they will become vulnerable to the Grover Norquist plan to
shrink the government till it's small enough to drown it in a
bathtub. After which the right will become the feudal lords over
a third world nation.
JS> will opt to swallow the government's bitter pill, simply
JS> because there is no other choice available . . . at least
JS> so they are led to believe.
The country will disolve in rebellion or resort to fascism long
before that.
JS> Having said that, do you now understand how the global
JS> elite could use extended high unemployment as a mechanism
JS> to introduce the Mark of the Beast system? People might not
JS> like it, but they will be forced to accept it; that is, if
JS> they want to survive, and continue doing business as usual.
Since there is no business as usual, and the government has
nothing to offer under that scenario, that is not likely.
JS> Think about it. It may be later than you think!
It is later than you think. The national safety net and Keynsian
economics protected this country against depression for 60
years. The repeal of the national safety net, the repeal of
trade restrictions, and the imposition of supply side economics
brought us to the very brink of depression.
JS> Defining Prosperity Down
JS> By PAUL KRUGMAN - NYT
JS> August 1, 2010
I have read this. Krugman has this right. What you don't realize
is, this is a new defining down, not the first time. When 5%
unemployment was declared "structural" we started on this road.
That was when the public started to be conditioned. The
seperation of those who need a job but have given up from the
official unemployment stats was the next step.
The decision by the FED that their job it to control inflation,
and not unemployment, was the step that is destroying this
country.
JS> I'm starting to have a sick feeling about prospects for
JS> American workers -- but not, or not entirely, for the
JS> reasons you might think.
JS> Yes, growth is slowing, and the odds are that unemployment
JS> will rise, not fall, in the months ahead. That's bad. But
JS> what's worse is the growing evidence that our governing
JS> elite just doesn't care -- that a once-unthinkable level of
JS> economic distress is in the process of becoming the new
JS> normal.
JS> And I worry that those in power, rather than taking
JS> responsibility for job creation, will soon declare that
JS> high unemployment is "structural," a permanent part of the
JS> economic landscape -- and that by condemning large numbers
JS> of Americans to long-term joblessness, they'll turn that
JS> excuse into dismal reality.
...
JS> The point is that a large part of Congress -- large enough
JS> to block any action on jobs -- cares a lot about taxes on
JS> the richest 1 percent of the population, but very little
JS> about the plight of Americans who can't find work.
Class warfare - Class warfare - Class warfare - Class warfare
JS> Well, if Congress won't act, what about the Federal
JS> Reserve? The Fed, after all, is supposed to pursue two
JS> goals: full employment and price stability, usually defined
JS> in practice as an inflation rate of about 2 percent. Since
JS> unemployment is very high and inflation well below target,
JS> you might expect the Fed to be taking aggressive action to
JS> boost the economy. But it isn't.
Just as I said above. They abandoned full employment long ago.
...
JS> But the Fed hasn't done any of these things. Instead, some
JS> officials are defining success down.
Sound familiar?
