Yup.
(A) why I'd like to be able to manage the radio through the UI so If I
don't need the radio I can turn the lot off or I can just have phone or
just Wifi etc.
(B) Other than radio I don't think that the power will outstrip the
batteries simply coz the h/w makers up till now have favoured battery life
over cpu speed etc & what with persistent RAM coming in steadily I
think storage power requirements may well drop.

Except charging & if you've got to plugin in a USB cable to charge the
unit.....then use a powered hub et voila
