I finally went and telnetted into Juxta (I remembered that it was "X"
not "S" as you have it above, fortunately... or is that an alternate
address?) as I had been planning to, eventually...  this gave an added
reason to scope things out.

I didn't see any reminder up about the Y2K bug, unless it was on the
screen that flashed by too quickly to read, just as I was getting into
the BW door?  I noted that he's got an OS/2 system, running Maximus. 
That could make a difference, I think.

Curious about whether his BW door worked and how well, I did set up the
door for my usual downloads.  I didn't notice anyone from that BBS
trying to post to any of the Fido echoes I frequent, so I don't know if
that worked or not in that door... if I get brave, I might try to post
from there and see what happens...    I'm a great beta tester, as
bugs jump right out when I try to use things... 

Thanks for the reminder that Juxta has the BW door, BTW... I knew that
but hadn't currently recollected...
