I leave my monitor on 24/7. So does everyone else at work. I also
left my Dec workstation on 24/7. You pretty well had to: if you
shut them down, starting the system would take _hours_ if all the
workstations were attempting to boot.
TWO wasted power.
In winter, heat is seldom wasted.
