While that's true to some degree, as it applies to email, and news groups,
I don't think those attributes are supported in plain text. PT is just the
ascii characters. The person receiving the email sets the font and size
they want to view.
Your last TEST shows up just as Verdana 12 in my newsreader, because that's
how I've got it set to display everything. So, if you're going to want to
use emphasis, I don't think you can use color, I/B/U and have it show up.
I'm probably wrong, but that's my understanding.
