That's why I deselected the echo weeks ago, it gets thick in there.

I understand how it is good to have a command line and to know how to use
it, but forgoing the use of a graphical interface and the advantages it has
for many things is laughable.  I get a chuckle whenever I read one of them
talk about how much better a CRT is than a flat panel display. The 23"
LCD display I have on my X2 is amazing compared to the 21" CRT I had
on it before. There is detail on some things that the CRT just did not show
well. It took a while to get used to the sharp, crisp look of the LCD
display. :-)

Why have such a large screen for text?

Another thing that I get a chuckle about is Waynie's Slackware advocacy. If
Maurice had been using any other distro, Wayne would be using it too and
acting like that distro was for real men.
