-= Changes between the Supra 288 1.44-16 and the 1.440-17 ROM Code =-
1) Some older 28.8Kbps V34 modems from other manufacturers would
   indicate during negotiation that they supported 33.6Kbps (or
   even 36Kbps).  This would cause fruitless attempts to negotiate
   upward.
2) A problem that caused an occasional glitch in the LCD display
    was fixed.
3) Under some conditions retrains were not being limited to a
   maximum duration of 90 seconds.
4) Several problems that could cause some retrains to fail were
   fixed.
5) The EQM tables for V.34 rate renegotiations (up and down) and
   retrains were updated.  Rate renegotiations to lower rates will
   occur when the EQM exceeds 63 to 66, depending on connection
   rate.  Rate renegotiations to higher rates will occur when the
   EQM is below 30 to 33, depending on connection rate.  Retrains
   will occur when the EQM exceeds 82 to 84, depending on
   connection rate.
6) The EQM tables controlling initial connection rates were
   modified, this increases the number of lines that connect at
   higher data rates.
7) A LAPM problem that could cause the remote modem to reject
   I frames been fixed.
