GARLAND COULSON spoke thusly to: BOB F
GC> BFH> Does anyone know tips on how to make a WWW page truly
GC> BFH> successful? Many fail,
GC> BFH> and yet many succeed. There should be tips on it from more
GC> BFH> experienced fellows.
GC>Here are a few ideas:
GC>1) Make sure your web page address shows up on all correspondence,
GC>business cards, brochures, emails, etc. You'd be surprised how
GC>many people give me business cards without the email address on it.
GC>2) Make it easy for people to contact you from your web page.
GC>Make sure your mailing address, phone numbers (consider a 1-800#)
GC>(don't forget area code!), email address, fax, etc.
GC>3) Don't overdo the graphics. If the web page takes too long to
GC>load, some people get frustrated and quit.
Well said.
I just wish everyone who has a web page would heed your advice.
Save the graphics for the products and keep the main pages for data
(which is why I am there in the first place).
