-> On 05-02-10, WAYNE CHIRNSIDE said to TIM RICHARDSON: -> -> -=> TIM RICHARDSON wrote to WAYNE CHIRNSIDE <=- -> -> -> WC>You're in W By Gawd Virginia. -> -> -> WC>You've read the actual document? -> -> -> WC>How long have you been in California? -> -> -> -> For over thirty years. That is common knowledge. Even your fellow traveler, -> Otto Sauer (not his father.....the `Otto Sauer who posts in Fido) has known -> this for many years. Well I'm not in the habit of stalking people like some. Not you of course as I gave you my address. Thanks gain for that hard drive, it's seeing good use! -> -> By the way......I want to point something out to you. -> -> -> You were blabbing to someone in another echo that you recently purchased -> marajuana and used it. Yeah? So? What? It's been 25 years. It's not addictive. It was about 7 grams. It's gone. It won't be repeated as a waste of money. Boy but wow it sure makes that first cup of coffee in the morning or a 1/2 gallon of chocolate frozen yogurt go down well! -> I'd like to draw your attention to the fact that, in the state of _> -> -> Florida, -> possession (20 grams or less) is a criminal misdemeanor carrying a one year -> jail sentence, plus a $1000 fine! Well thanks but you're WRONG. Two misdemeanors for the same charge is a FELONY here. -> -> More than 20 grams is a felony, with a five year jail sentence, and a $5000 -> fine! -> -> -> *Plus*....."Any conviction causes drivers license suspension for 6 months to 2 -> years!" -> -> -> Not only that.....this last little go-around you had with the law involved -> some sort of probation, didn't it? If so.....possessing marajuana in violation -> of the law is `also' a violation of that probation. No, You are yet AGAIN, WRONG. There was no probation attendant to that charge settled in chambers with the judge for $165. The concurrent charge of DUI was later handled criminal court trial where I took the stand represented by a public defender and adjudicated not guilty by all six members of the jury. Three of the four cops testifying lied their butt's off with one, the video tape recording officer having has a sudden case of ethically induced amnesia claiming not to having recalled any details of the incident. BTW that video was severely edited to to the rather extensive police misconduct committed on tape. The judge hammered the prosecution for overstepping bounds six times at least. The part that was allowed to be shown to the jury just of the field sobriety tests sans police misconduct showed me 100 percent sober. Usually when a jury returns in 20 minutes the news is BAD for the individual in question however the police in this case put on such an incredibly poor show of perjury ( a felony in this case) that it resolved in my favor in lightning speed. No you do NOT get probation for being adjudicated not guilty and the 1985 4 1/2 gram marijuana bust was settled in chamber with a fine. I never even got to smoke any of it but one of the cops took a whiff and proclaimed it top quality. I've smoked pot back in my 20's WITH a Saint Petersburg Police officer. Given a ride hitch hiking I thought it neighborly to offer a doobie for the lift. Oops, out come the police I.D., then he took a hit much to my relief. Then he said it was poor quality ( all too true) so he asked if I wanted to smoke some "good stuff" and I went to his place. Yup, police definitely get the good stuff. But dang Tim this is JUST the sort of personal stuff the moderator here specifically warned he didn't want posted here and here you go soliciting it yet again :-( I AM correcting your factual errors of course. -> -> A crime is a crime. *You* admitted to having committed a crime (possibly two, -> if a probation violation is also involved). What probation might that be? -> -> So........you need to not climb up on that `moral' high-horse of yours too -> much. You don't fit that image. A M.J. cigarette is hardly a moral infraction. It's just a DUMB law. Check out LEAF: Law Enforcement Against Prohibition. Cops, former cops, judges and former judges all opposed to the criminalization of drugs and the crime and violence that has led to. Now lets all try to abide by the moderators declared want that we keep out the personal stuff OK? I just felt the need to clarify a good many of your incorrect surmises. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 848 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
