Nope, I've already got it completely configured. Motherboard full ATX 140 watt processor support AM3/AM2+/AM2. Motherboard $90 1 - ATA IDE master - slave 6 - SATA II 2 - PCI 2 - PCIe1 2 - PCIe16 3xUSB 2.0 with cable with additional headers on the motherboard. Supports up to DDR2 1066 16 Gig in four slots. Crucial memory DDR2 2x1024 800 at $66 dollars 1 - 2.7 GHz AMD 64 dual core Brisbane 5200 drawing only 65 watts at $50 I've already downloaded the motherboard manual and everything checks out perfect. I've checked out user satisfation ratings for the motherboard and they're amoung the highest on site and that site seems honest enough as they report some darn lousy ratings for other motherboards. Darn near perfectly rated for this board. Only six screws to secure the motherboard. Suggested power supply 350 watt and that for a 140 watt processor while the AMD 64 dual core Brisbane 5200 only draws 65 watts and I've already upgraded to a 350 watt power supply. I've googled for problems related to Linux and found none though there is a BIOS flash upgrade to be had so glad I saved that 3.5 inch floppy drive. Someone recommended another board but I think it'll be hard to beat this deal and as a bonus it comes in right at the $210 I'd intended to buy a Micro-ATX board for with far fewer options. Still and all I'll check out the other system but this I found myself and checked out every issue in a half a days time or less. Nothing "piece meal" about the way I went about looking for this deal and I just ran across it today. I've been looking for the right motherboard for months now and this one has a demonstrated history of reliability. Not right exactly at the bleeding edge but a lot more than I'd anicipated for my price cap as you'll recall I'd been looking at Micro-ATX boards to bring it in at this price. I do believe it is time to order this puppy whether or not I can afford it all this month I'll squeeze the motherboard in in advance. No DOA's reported for the board either. 35 reviews and no complaints of any consequence at all. ...
