Back when you had to make the install floppies (3 of them) and hope and pray your CD drive was covered. I had a headless Slack box up and running (Pentium Pro) for almost a year without rebooting on our network back when I was doing tech support on my friend's ISP. We used to send mail back and forth across the network through it and pull a usenet feed on it. We also used it for playing with apache. Since then, I've run about a dozen different distros before finding Ubuntu and then Mint. RC> Wayne seems to think the command lines on the x/k/u-buntu versions are RC> somehow less capable. ROFLOL! Does he not know it's the very same default Bourne Again SHell as all the other Linux distros? There are some differences between distros as far as where the developers put things, but they all come with the same stuff.
