Thanks Adam - I'll try that out :o) - whilst I was looking for it I found
this: http://tng.private.dk/secret.htm which is fairly useful for someone
in my position. It has lots of "what's the Linux eqivalent of program
X" type of stuff - I hope to maybe write something similar or some
kind of Windows to Linux guide eventually (I'll see how things go).
