COuld be so, but with all of the crap we've taken from United airlines over
the years,
it's time to express some anger.
Some of us just aren't going to take such treatment at the hands of folks
who should know better.
Sure, he would have had better luck asking a passerby for assistance, as
Kevin says, which would have been my way to handle it should I need
assistance, but, if they tell you they offer such service,
let them provide it with a minimum of bs, thank you very much.
He asked for assistance finding his gate, not for a keeper or to be treated
like an imbecile. Since he received the latter, he should react with
anger, as should we all.
We're not a large enough group to have a boycot do anything economically,
though,
and I see few other ways out.
Might I suggest that if we find an email address for United pig lines, we
flood it with mail.
Harvey, tnx for the Fax number. Post it again, and let us all flood their
corporate headquarters fax line with fax letters of protest.
It seems it's time to take this war to a higher level of hostility. We've
tried education and polite conversation, to no avail. I'm not advocating
out and out terrorism, but, it may be the only way to go as we don't have
enough economic power to wise them up by boycots etc. They insist on
declaring war on blind people, and I'm in one of these small towns which is
only served by united's subsidiary carriers, so I won't fly from
Buyrlington Iowa.
I've had a long standing dislike, almost hatred for those folks for many
years and it's mainly because we don't seem to be getting through when we
communicate with them.
Harvey's anger is justified in my not so humble opinion.
