Level 9 of what episode?  -Goobers works for any wolf3d version 1.1+ (that 
includes 1.4).  Then you have to enable the cheats in the game for them to 
work with left-shift/left-alt/backspace.   You should see the thing say 
"Debug keys active(or something similar).  Then hit the cheats such as tab-g 
for god mode.  WHen you kill the end level bosses, you should use the 
chaingun, not the winpy maching gun.
