I had the chance to use FrontPage 2002 recently.  I don't use it very
often, but it crashes each time I'm using it - randomly in the middle of a
session.   I searched on Google Groups and found that FP 2002 and 2003 seem
to have many mysterious crashes.     I was curious about this, since this
must qualify for the flakiest MS software out there.

   So, MS has done the smart thing.  They have EOL'd the FrontPage code
base (it must have been a tangled mess).  The future replacement for it
will be new from the ground up "Expression Webdesigner",
available any month now.   It can generate standards-based HTML, while also
supporting
ASP.NET, etc.

   By the way, MS has also abandoned/EOL'd the Front Page Extensions for
Unix.
