Actually when I get some time I plan to write a Perl QWK packet creator. 
It'll be good practice.  In the meantime the point works okay so it isn't
that big a deal and I really ought to get the new partition up to speed.  I
want to test out the framebuffer GTK stuff and perhaps a Perl based offline
ftp QWK thingy might be just what the doctor ordered.  I have a ways to go
on that so I best get back at it.

However if you just want me to test your ftp thingy again I'll be more then
happy to give it a whirl.  Looks kinda interesting even if it didn't work. 
What an odd thing.  I think I might like it ... when it works that is.  :-)

In the meantime I hope you don't mind me using your BBS.  It works.  I'm
starting to get the hang of it.
