Exactly.  We had one of those in the AC room at the studio, actually we had
7 of those in out AC line conditioner room at the studio.  One across each
leg of the incoming 220-240, and then one each on the output of each of the
5 line conditioners that ran all the gear.  Very interesting to watch thru
the day, as the main voltage would bounce all over the place, and the line
conditioners would just smooth it all out.
