Not sure about the command$ in the IDE, running in a OS2/VDM. The only time I 
ever had to use a VDM was when I was running Novell-Lite. It was the only way 
to access another DOS machine while running under OS/2 with Novell-Lite. I 
would think, it would/should work since you have the DOS version of your 
choice. PowerBASIC runs fine in OS/2 and with Peer 2 Peer running. No problem 
creating/deleting/accessing/moving or otherwise, files across the net.
