Well after all that, I've got SAS/C 6.55 installed on my
machine, but unfortunately it still has the same error,
"Error 107: too many initializers" on the line of code
that says:

char buf[5] = "\x01\x02\x03\x04\x05";

What a shame!  If someone here has access to the internet,
conference comp.sys.amiga.programmer, could they crosspost
this message, and maybe it will find its way into the next
