For some reason my hpt stops tossing mail if there's any Jam messagebase in its
config. It fails with error:

hpt: structrw.c:1042: decode_subfield: Assertion `(byte
*)(subfieldNext+1)subfield[0].Buffer' failed.

I've tried deleting all echoarea declarations from config, and changing
[up]links config to use Jam as default for newly created areas. That worked...
somewhat. Eventually hpt starts to throw that error, and no new packets get
parsed. No issues with GoldEd working with Jam messagebases though.

So, there's one other thing I'm going to try: I'll create a point for
MysticBBS, and it will use my binkd as an uplink. Although I'm not quite sure
how this will fit FidoNet policy. But still worth a try as a proof of concept.
